The firm prides in its strong Litigation department which is led by Mr Dimitris Papadopoulos who is one of the founding partners of the firm and has extensive experience as a commercial litigator.

The Litigation Department handles a wide spectrum of cases ranging from commercial and corporate, multi-jurisdictional disputes, freezing of assets and international Mareva injunctions, commercial contracts, banking, tort, accidents, damages, rent control, constitutional and administrative reviews, labour disputes, as well as family and probate issues.

The approach is hands-on and informal, aiming to meet clients’ needs by providing accurate, efficient and timely advice on any issue.

The team assists clients in representation in Court and also heads out-of-Court negotiations.

Special attention is given to international aspects such as competence of Courts and registration and execution of foreign judgments and Arbitral Awards.

Dimitris Papadopoulos heads the dispute resolution team at Papadopoulos, Lycourgos & Co LLC. Highlights included assisting one of the largest banks in France with interlocutory and freezing orders, and handling a major anti-money-laundering action against a Ukrainian bank.
