The Firm handles corporate matters such as the incorporation of local companies, as well as International Business Companies (IBC’s) the setting up of holding companies, subsidiaries or branches of Cypriot and foreign companies, advice on double-tax treaties which Cyprus has ratified with other countries, the drafting of shareholders agreements, the transfer of shares and the over-all governance of corporate structures.
Mergers and acquisitions work is co-ordinated by the partners, in collaboration with other associates, for resolving specific issues.
The Firm is involved in all the preparatory work with regard to the floatation of Public companies in the Cyprus Stock Exchange and advises companies for the preparation of prospecti and on the relevant regulatory framework with regard to public issues of any kind of securities.
The Firm is also involved in incorporating companies and providing domiciliation, secretarial and other related services to companies belonging mainly to non-resident clients. A large number of companies, which do not have a direct physical presence in Cyprus, find it convenient and cost-saving to use our law firm for the provision of these services. Providing such services presents the advantage, among others, that matters which present legal aspects are immediately dealt with internally by the Firm, without the costly involvement of a third party.
The Firm deals with national and international business transactions such as commercial contracts, sales of business, distribution, agencies, licensing, franchising, sales and purchases, as well as immovable property transactions.
